This week on Gameoration, Dre has issues with Craig of the Creek and we break down why. Then we pivot into WWE talk — black wrestlers, the current wave of Spanish-speaking talent, and why that representation hits different when you’re watching with your kid.
We also unpack something wild: Amazon won’t let you buy digital games using an Amazon gift card because of “fraud prevention.” Make it make sense.
Cartoons. Culture. Wrestling. Corporate nonsense. Let’s get into it.

In this episode of Gameoration, things get wild real quick.
We kick things off with Dre’s strong feelings about lowbrow “potty humor” and whether that kind of comedy still has a place in games and entertainment. Then we spin dash into some Sonic the Hedgehog talk — including the long-running rumors about Sonic’s possible connection to the King of Pop himself.
To wrap things up, we take a trip down memory lane with a rundown of Black-led cartoons from our childhood and share our thoughts on their impact, representation, and why they still matter today.
It’s laughs, nostalgia, hot takes, and a little bit of gaming history — the Gameoration way.

In this episode of Gameoration, we’re bringing the heat.
First up, I’m dropping my hot takes on the Iron Lung movie — did it capture the dread of the indie horror hit, or did it sink under pressure?
Then we shift gears and break down the biggest announcements from the latest PlayStation State of Play. New reveals, sequels, surprises, and the games that actually got us excited (and the ones that didn’t).
Horror, hype, and honest opinions — no corporate energy here.
If you’re into real talk about games, movies, and everything in between, you’re in the right place.

his week on Gameoration, we’re talking all things The Big Game — and no, it’s not about the football.
We break down the commercials, the tone shift toward emotional and feel-good storytelling, and why so many brands leaned into heart over hype. From celebrity overload to the surprising number of AI-focused ads, this year’s lineup had a very different energy.
Then we dive into the halftime show headlined by Bad Bunny, featuring guests like Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin — a performance that sparked huge reactions, massive social engagement, and plenty of cultural conversation. Whether you loved it, hated it, or were just confused, we’ve got thoughts.
If you watch the Big Game for the ads, the spectacle, and the chaos between plays… this episode’s for you.
Let’s talk commercials, culture, and the moments everyone’s still arguing about.

We kick things off with Dre’s deep, emotional, lifelong love of TVs and break down where you can actually score a good one without selling a kidney. Then we take a hard turn into horror and talk about Return to Silent Hill… and yeah, it did not survive the discussion. Expectations were high. The results? Not great, chief.
We wrap it all up with hype, speculation, and chaos as we dive into the WWE Royal Rumble 2026—possible entrants, surprises, and why the Rumble is still one of the most fun events in wrestling every single year.
TVs, movies, wrestling, and brutally honest opinions—this one’s got it all.🎮🎬🤼♂️

This week on Gameoration, we’re tackling a spicy gamer debate:Is grinding levels just the old-school way of switching a game to easy mode?
We break down whether grinding is earned power, strategic prep, or straight-up cheese 🧀. From classic RPGs to modern games with “story mode,” we talk about how over-leveling changes difficulty, player skill, and the way games are designed today. No shame, no gatekeeping—just vibes, opinions, and probably a few hot takes.
Grab a controller, farm some XP, and let’s argue like civilized gamers.

Taylor admits he absolutely loses his mind when he’s home alone, while Dre explains how he’s trained himself to stay calm like a Jedi. That somehow leads into a very real conversation about AI—specifically studios using deepfakes and archived audio to recreate deceased actors. From there, things escalate: if a performer is only emoting while wearing a dead actor’s face and voice… can they win an award? Is that acting? Puppeteering? Necromancy with extra steps? We don’t solve it—but we definitely poke it with a stick.

Taylor spirals when his PC suddenly decides it’s had enough of life, then somehow pulls off a miracle fix. Dre shares his own “tech betrayal” story, proving computers are just chaotic little gremlins. From there, the conversation veers into video games that do and do not respect the player’s intelligence—specifically, why more games desperately need a big glowing “THIS WAY, STUPID” directional button. Tech stress, shared pain, and game design gripes—classic Gameoration energy.

Another episode of Gameoration is locked and loaded. This week, we kick things off talking about those wild In-N-Out lines, Dre casually shows up with a bowl of gumbo like it’s a side quest reward, and we swap stories about random (and slightly unhinged) convention encounters. Then we get dangerous and start predicting the future — what do we think the big trend of 2026 is going to be? Gaming, tech, culture… nothing is safe. Pull up a chair, grab some fries (animal style obviously), and let’s overanalyze everything like professionals who absolutely did not plan this episode.

It’s the end-of-the-year Gameoration episode and… yeah, it went exactly how you’d expect. We kick things off talking about how we each spent Christmas, then somehow spiral into Dre having the busiest, most unhinged day at work right after the holidays. From there, things get real as we talk money stress, life stuff, and the idea of uploading your consciousness to a server — and whether that version of you is actually you or just spicy data cosplay.
Oh, and we tried to do a Game of the Year discussion… but since we didn’t really play many new games, that idea got politely escorted out the door. It’s reflective, funny, a little existential, and very much on brand for a year-end episode. Grab a drink, get comfy, and vibe with us as we close the book on the year.
